Ted de Budden <br /> From: Ted de Budden <br /> Sent: Thursday, September 20, 2018 4:00 PM <br /> To: Jeff Alford <br /> Cc: Donald Cunningham;Tony Lee <br /> Subject: RE: 5614 Evergreen <br /> Hello Jeff, <br /> We were able to conduct the inspection today of the electrical concerns within the building located at 5614 Evergreen <br /> Way. <br /> Here is a brief summary of our observations and determinations. <br /> Unsafe and non-compliant electrical wiring was observed throughout the building including but not limited to: <br /> Open electrical splices <br /> Exposed and unprotected NM "Romex"wiring <br /> Bare and exposed conductors <br /> Damaged electrical boxes and fittings <br /> Flexible cords being used for permanent wiring <br /> Damaged electrical fixtures and wiring <br /> Improperly and unsupported electrical wiring. <br /> The electrical equipment within this structure in its current condition is Unsafe as defined by code. IPMC section 108.1.2 <br /> Because of this the structure is Unsafe and should be condemned until required repairs have been made to the electrical <br /> system and inspection approvals have been granted. <br /> An electrical permit to make the repairs is required. <br /> Let me know if I can provide additional assistance in this matter. <br /> Regards <br /> *,e..7.7.
