Kirk Brooks
To: Jane Zimmerman
Subject: RE: PUD Operations Center- drainage maintenance plan
Thanks Jane. We will take care of the CESCL part. Kirk
From: Jane Zimmerman
Sent: Friday, April 08, 2016 3:34 PM
To: Kirk Brooks
Cc: Paul McKee; Steve Ingalsbe
Subject: PUD Operations Center- drainage maintenance plan
Hi Kirk—
The Critical Areas Analysis for this project, in the third paragraph on page 18,states that"Construction Plans from the
late 1970's show this area to be constructed as a stormwater storage/conveyance area with an associated drainage
system." In addition, the submitted plans show a drainage structure at the northwest corner of the area with an existing
underdrain from the area where maintenance work will occur.
In accordance with the above information, I am concluding that the work in the existing stormwater storage/conveyance
area is a maintenance project, and not new development or redevelopment. And the only other work shown on the
plans is the creation of less than 2,000 square feet of new impervious area associated with the construction of a new
segment of gravel path. Therefore, the only Minimum Technical Requirement that applies to the site is Minimum
Requirement#2,for Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention, and my approval of the plans is not required.
Thank you,
Jane
1
