By acceptance of a Contract for the work herein, <br /> Contractor waives all claims for payment of damages which include or are computed on total costs of job <br /> performance,extended overhead,or other similar methods which do not relate to the unit prices stated <br /> herein or are not specific as to actual,direct costs to the Contractor. Accordingly,all claims for damages <br /> or extra compensation shall be detailed in accordance with the Major Changes provision of the General <br /> Conditions. <br /> 12. WAGE DETERMINATION <br /> 1 All laborers,workmen,or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the performance of the Contract <br /> either by Contractor,Subcontractor,or other person doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate <br /> of wage as defined in RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates available from the State of Washington <br /> Department of Labor and Industries are incorporated here in Section 00900 and are available from: <br /> State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries <br /> Employment Standards Division <br /> General Administration Building <br /> Olympia,Washington 98504 <br /> Contact: Janet Day <br /> 1 (206) 753-6317 <br /> Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such requirements. No claim for additional <br /> compensation will be allowed which is based upon a lack of knowledge of these requirements or a failure to <br /> include adequate increases in such wages over the term of this contract in the bidder's proposal price. <br /> 13. OBJECTIONABLE APPLICATION OF PRODUCTS <br /> All Contractor and subcontractors submitting Bids for this project shall thoroughly familiarize themselves with <br /> specified products and installation procedures and submit to Engineer any objections(in writing)no later than <br /> five(5)days prior to Bid Date. Submittal of Bid constitutes acceptance of products and procedures specified. <br /> 14. BUSINESS LICENSE <br /> A City of Everett business license is required for the Contractor and subcontractors performing work on this <br /> project. All applicable fees and taxes shall be paid by the Contractor or subcontractor. The Contractor shall <br /> provide documentation of the City of Everett business license when the signed contracts are submitted to the <br /> City of Everett for approval and execution. <br /> 15.
