These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". 1. Lateral calculations call for shearwall with 5/8"diameter anchor bolts at 48"O.C. in a concrete foundation. Please provide a foundation plan that includes existing and new construction. This foundation must be capable of transferring vertical and lateral loads from the framed structure to the earth. The minimum frost depth in Everett is 18. inches. 2. Whole house fan size and location is required to be specified on the plans. Do not simply reference the code section. 3.
