My understanding is that the
water piping and waste piping were replaced by the former owner and are not part of this
project.
The house was given a face lift by replacing the existing fixtures with new fixtures. I did observe
that there are some corrections with the installations at some of the fixtures. These corrections
are as follows:
1. At the kitchen sink the p trap and drainage fittings need to be re worked, an air gap needs to
be installed for the dishwasher, an air hammer arrestor needs to be installed for the dishwasher
and the water supply for the kitchen sink and the dishwasher needs to be separated with
individual angle stops.
2. The powder lay sink p trap needs to be re worked to make it legal per code.
3. The master lay sink p trap needs to be re worked to make it legal per code and the claw foot
bath tub needs to be hooked up.
4. The upstairs bathroom lay sink needs the p trap to be re worked to make it legal per code.
5. The basement bathroom lay sink p trap needs to be re worked to make it legal per code.
6. The washing machine waste line needs to have a Studor vent installed as it currently has no
vent.
