It is recommended that the existing side sewer is inspected prior to the construction of the proposed garage. It appears to <br /> be running directly under the existing garage and may require upgrades prior to construction taking place over the existing <br /> side sewer. The Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) must be met for the portion of the side sewer under the proposed garage <br /> structure. The side sewer may need to be upgraded to meet UPC for the portion that will be under the structure or may need <br /> to be re-routed to not be located under the proposed garage.
