4. Violations & EMC Sections <br /> Inspection of the property reveals the following conditions and violations: <br /> There is a detached structure built in the rear portion of the property. It is being utilized <br /> as a dwelling unit. This is a violation of Everett Municipal Code 19.7.020(b) which <br /> reads; <br /> B. Detached accessory buildings are limited to accessory usesThe following spaces <br /> are allowed within a detached accessory building:bathrooms, hobby rooms, home <br /> occupations, home offices, recreation rooms, or laundry rooms. The following rooms are <br /> not allowed in accessory buildings:bedrooms, dining rooms, or kitchens. <br /> 5. Corrective Action, Deadline <br /> If the Respondent completes the following corrective action by the date listed below, <br /> and is not a repeat violator, the respondent may enter into an agreed order as <br /> described in Section 7 below. <br /> a. Any occupants or legal tenants must be vacated form the structure. All legal tenants <br /> must be removed in compliance with all of the provisions of the Washington State <br /> Landlord-Tenant Act, RCW 59.18. <br /> b. The Respondent shall apply for and obtain all necessary and required permits <br /> to bring the structure into compliance with the EMC. They shall then conduct <br /> and complete all of the work required by the permits and have the work <br /> inspected and approved by staff from the Building Division. <br /> The corrective action must be completed by July 3, 2015. <br /> G.
