Ted Budden
From: Ted Budden
Sent: Tuesday,July 14, 2015 3:41 PM
To: Anne Weech
Cc: Kevin Fagerstrom
Subject: 1705 Oakes Ave CE15-0501
Anne,
A safety assessment inspection was conducted today as requested by the Code Enforcement Hearings Examiner during
the hearing held July 9th 2015 for the converted garage building located at 1705 Oakes Ave.Owned by Mr. David
Homavand.
This Inspection was conducted by electrical inspector Tim Alaniz and me.
The purpose of the inspection was to determine if the current occupant(a tenant who leases the premises from Mr.
Homavand) can continue to reside temporarily in the dwelling during the variance and permit review process.
The building was assessed using the minimum occupancy standards as outlined by the 2012 edition of the International
Property Maintenance Code.
It is my opinion that continued occupancy of this structure as a dwelling for the duration of the current lease will not
present any obvious immediate hazards to the occupant.
Regards
Ted Budden
Chief Inspector
Everett Building Department
1
