This project was necessary to alleviate basement flooding, due to the combined sewer/drainage <br /> system backing up into homes during excessive rain events,known as"Micro Bursts"because of lack of <br /> capacity in the existing pipes on 35th Street and its arterials. <br /> Change Order No. 3 modifies two (2)existing bid items to pay for additional work to complete the project as <br /> follows: <br /> • Modify Bid Item#A-2: Traffic Control Labor to pay for quantity overruns. <br /> • Modify Bid Item#A-29: Topsoil and Seeding to pay for quantity overruns. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order <br /> No. 3 with ICI for the Wetmore Avenue Stormwater Bypass Project, in the amount of$9,660.00. <br /> There is no change to the Contract time. <br /> • <br /> 17 <br />
