Masonry restoration includes exterior building all repairs and restoration requirements of the Fire <br /> Administration Building located at 2801 Oakes Avenue. <br /> The project is needed to repair historical building exterior surfaces,mortar joint erosion,horizontal metal <br /> lintels across the top of windows,hose tower cracked concrete, and application of water repellant seal coat. <br /> Funding will come from Capital Improvement Program 1. The initial phase of the project is to fund design <br /> and construction administration in the amount of$20,000. Staff will request an amendment to the proposed <br /> Ordinance to increase project funding after construction bids are received, which is anticipated by the end of <br /> the second quarter of 2019. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance Creating a Special Construction Fund entitled Everett Fire Administration Building <br /> Masonry Restoration Project, Fund 342,Program 028. <br /> 5 <br />
