THE PROVISION OF FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> a. Any request for aid shall include the amount and type of <br /> equipment and personnel requested and will specify the location <br /> where the equipment and personnel are to be dispatched. <br /> b. Upon receiving a request for assistance, the senior <br /> officer of the responding party shall determine the available <br /> amount and types of equipment and personnel to be dispatched, <br /> along with instructions as to their mission, use and deployment, <br /> without jeopardizing the mission the fire department providing <br /> the resources . <br /> c . The senior officer of the requesting fire department <br /> shall normally assume full charge of the operations at the scene <br /> of the fire or other emergency. However, under procedures <br /> agreed to by the heads of the fire departments involved, a <br /> senior officer of the fire department furnishing assistance may <br /> assume responsibility for the coordination of the overall <br /> operations at the scene. <br /> d. Any request for aid shall include a statement of the <br /> amount and type of equipment and personnel requested, and shall <br /> specify the location to which the equipment and personnel are to <br /> be dispatched. <br /> e . A responding organization shall be released by the <br /> requesting organization when the services of the responding <br /> organization are no longer required or when the responding <br /> organization is needed within its own jurisdiction. <br /> 10 . Training: <br /> a. Whenever one of the parties to this MAA hosts fire <br /> protection training for its own fire department (host <br /> department) it may, to the maximum extent practicable and <br /> subject to its sole discretion, offer to provide the same <br /> training to members of the other parties (guest department) . <br /> b. The host department will not charge the guest department <br /> for any training provided under the terms of this MAA unless it <br /> is a cost that cannot be covered by the host department such as, <br /> cost per student or cost of a certificate . Any training will be <br /> provided on a space available basis only. <br /> c . The guest department and its members will be solely <br /> responsible for the payment of any and all costs necessary for <br /> the guest department personnel to attend any training provided <br /> 4 <br /> N68967-20180321-2504 <br />
