AIIIIIP ORDINANCE NO. 3662-19 AN ORDINANCE Creating a Special Construction Fund entitled "Everett Fire Administration Building Exterior Masonry Restoration Project", Fund 342, Program 028 WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need for Exterior Masonry Restoration of the Everett Fire Administration Building located at 2801 Oakes Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 028 entitled "Everett Fire Administration Building Exterior Masonry Restoration Project" to accumulate the costs required for the project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Executive Director - Transportation and Infrastructure, under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3: The sum of $20,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 028 "Everett Fire Administration Building Exterior Masonry Restoration Project". A. Use of Funds Design and Construction Administration $20,000.00 Total $20,000.00 B. Source of Funds CIP 1 $20,000.00 C. The appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of re-appropriation. Section 5: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby authorized to negotiate a reasonable rate of interest and obtain temporary financing to satisfy interim construction costs. Temporary financing shall be redeemed as soon as reimbursement is received.
