February 13, 2019 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> GRANT AGREEMENTS — OBLIGATIONS OF HOTEL MOTEL TAX <br /> Council Member Tuohy stated that she is currently employed by a non-profit <br /> organization that is on the recommended list for grant funding, and although <br /> she has a fixed salary that is unaffected by this award, she recuses herself <br /> from any discussion or action relating to the grants award process. <br /> Council Member Tuohy left the council chambers at 6:43 p.m. <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Murphy, to concur with the recommendation of the Lodging Tax <br /> Advisory Committee and the Budget Finance Committee to accept the <br /> long-term obligations of the Hotel Motel Tax listed above and to <br /> allocate grant funding as designated in an amount not to exceed <br /> $464,764, and authorize the Mayor to sign the contracts. <br /> Council Member Murphy thanked the members of Lodging Tax Advisory <br /> Committee. <br /> Council Member Vogeli inquired about future opportunities for additional <br /> grant funding. <br /> Council Member Murphy stated there would be additional funding available <br /> this year, and the deadline to submit applications is on March 7, 2019. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Tuohy who was recused, and Council Members Roberts and Stonecipher <br /> who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 51 <br />
