• <br /> . • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /00:7-41( <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of <br /> the City of Everett as provided by Ord. No. 2572, <br /> as amended by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19, <br /> to encompass an area north of 100th Street S.W. <br /> between Kasch Park and Walter E. Hall Golf Course. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on December 13, 1983, the Everett <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the <br /> , zoning designations for the hereinafter described property annexed to the <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determined, after hearing the recommendations <br /> of the Planning Commission at public hearings on January 4, 1984, and February <br /> 8, 1984, that the Comprehensive Plan designation for said property should be <br /> Mixed Use Residential, 8-12 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the zoning set forth is in the <br /> best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after reviewing the Planning <br /> Commission recommendation from the aforementioned public hearings, it has been <br /> determined that said property should be zoned R-2, Single Family High Density <br /> Residential, and R-3, Multiple Family Low Density Residential; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1 : That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby <br /> find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the <br /> best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose <br /> of the Comprehensive Plan as amended by Resolution No. 2385. 1 <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Everett Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3572, Section <br /> 4, as amended) is hereby amended. <br /> Parcel A — Zoned R-2: <br /> Legal Description: <br /> All that portion of Section 14, Township 28 North, Range 4 <br /> E.W.M. , described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 16, Plat of <br /> Intercity Garden Tracts, according to the Plat thereof, <br /> recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, Page 3, Records of <br /> Snohomish County; THENCE, West along the South line of said <br /> Lot 16 of said Plat to the Southwest corner of said Lot 16; <br /> THENCE, North along the West line of said Plat to the <br /> Northwest corner thereof; THENCE, East along the North line 1 <br /> of said Plat to the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, South <br /> along the East line of said Plat to the Southeast corner of <br /> Lot 32 of said Plat; THENCE, West along the South line of <br /> said Lot 32 to the Southwest corner thereof and its 1 <br /> intersection with the Easterly right—of—way line of <br /> Loganberry lane (aka 18th Avenue W) ; THENCE, South along <br /> said Easterly right—of—way line to intersect the Easterly <br /> projected South lot line of Lot 16, Plat of Intercity <br /> Garden Tracts; THENCE, West along said Easterly projected <br /> south Lot line to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> 1 <br />
