Paymentus is one of two approved vendors as identified by Advanced Utility Services,the City's billing software vendor. Paymentus will be replacing the existing payment gateway,FIS. Paymentus will charge no fees for the initial setup and personalization of its standard service for both Web and IVR interfaces. For each payment, Paymentus will charge a Paymentus Service Fee in the amount of$0.40 per credit card and$0.40 per e-check.. An analysis of the fees charged by FIS in 2018 compared to the Paymentus fee structure results in a monthly savings of approximately$700.00. Projections for the duration of the 3-year contract, assuming 25% annual growth in the User adoption rate, result in estimated Paymentus Annual Service Fees of$99,014 for Contract Year 1, $123,767 for Contract Year 2 and$154,709 for Contract Year 3. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Paymentus Master Services Agreement to have Paymentus provide electronic bill payment services to the City of Everett. 117
