Describe your advocacy style. As stated previously,unlike other firms,Holland&Knight offers Everett a campaign-style approach to advocacy. We use multi-layered strategies that incorporate lobbying,regulatory lawyering, traditional and social media,coalition building and grassroots engagement to break through the "noise"in Washington-and achieve our clients'goals. Our success comes from a combination of our creative approach and because of our trusted relationships with Congress and the Administration. Using our relationships,we are able to help influence legislation and gather real-time information about the dynamics affecting the City's priorities. Holland&Knight will function as a seamless part of the Everett team. That means we are available 24/7 to both the Everett team as well as to the City's congressional delegation and other key federal stakeholders. We will proactively create opportunities to advance the City's agenda and work closely with the City's House and Senate delegation to achieve success on the City's federal objectives. We believe in"staffing the staff'on Capitol Hill and in the Administration to ensure that they have what they need to successfully advocate for the City's priorities. We assist in the drafting of legislative proposals,amendments,and appropriations provisions and committee report language. We also help prepare compelling fact sheets to support the City's funding,legislative,and regulatory requests. In addition,Holland&Knight helps write letters to House and Senate members and Administration officials,taking into account relevant committee factors and political pressure points.
