Additionally, upon further review of the original and revised plans, it was determined that although Sign Category A allows for 2 (two)freestanding signs on this property based on street frontage, per 36.170.A.6.: "such signs shall be separated from one another by at least one hundred fifty feet."The two freestanding signs on the property are placed too close to one another;to move forward with either proposal,the existing freestanding sign will need to be removed to accommodate the new freestanding sign and must be indicated on the plan. If the removal of the existing sign results in the"future 24 SF" sign for the Espresso stand to be included with the proposal, please let me know. I have attached an updated site plan and elevation plan detailing the changes. There are minor changes to the size of the two signs but the overall square footage still does not exceed the 75 SF limit and also included clarification that the smaller lower sign will be an LED sign.
