This work included the <br /> installation of a COE provided 36-inch pressure sustaining valve within a Contractor provided cast-in-place concrete <br /> _ vault,along with miscellaneous water appurtenances. <br /> The General Contractor,McClure& Sons,Inc. completed the Three Lakes Valve Bypass project in accordance with <br /> the project's plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City of Everett Public Works Department. <br /> The final Contract amount due McClure&Sons,Inc. amounts to $1,306,828.14,which includes Washington State <br /> Sales Tax. The Contractor provided a retainage bond in lieu of retention being withheld. In order to release the <br /> retainage bond,the City of Everett needs to accept the project and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of <br /> Completion. <br /> RECO1VI11IENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Three Lakes Valve Bypass project with <br /> McClure&Sons,Inc.as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion, allowing the release <br /> of the retainage bond. <br /> 15 <br />
