With the addition of the following, the plans are approved: 1 . All food service equipment must be listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for its intended use. 2. Extra wall protection is required on wails behind sinks and food preparation tables. A sixteen inch (16') high backsplash of plastic laminate, fiberglass reinforce plastic or equal is acceptable. Plastic coated hardboard is not acceptable. 3. The Hoalth District operating permit application process must be completed prior to opening for business. If there are any significant changes_or additons to your layout or equipment, the Snohomish Health District must be notified. A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. Please contact the Food Program office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment.
