_ :s .'.y. .n' ng • ii ORDINANCE NO. 3372 • AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional funds 11 to cover unanticipated expenditures for the following departments 0 of the City of Everett for the year 1952: Miscellaneous Department: Election expenses. . 600.00 Water Department: Installation of 30" line from Lake Chaplin to No. 1 line. 100,000.00 • Installation of booster pump on Alderwood line at Fairmont. 18,000.00 0118,600.00 WHEREAS, the expenditures in the departments as hereinabove set forth will be in excess of the amount budgeted for the department for the year 1952 and for the items above mentioned, and WHEREAS, said expenditures could not have reasonably been foreseen at the time of the making of the budget for the year 1952 and that it is necessary that said expenditures be made for the best interests of the City of Everett, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the following departments are hereby allocated the following sums to cover the following expenditures in said departments in addition to that provided for in the budget for the year 1952, to-wit: Miscellaneous Department: Election expenses. 600.00 Water Department: Installation of 30" line from Lake Chaplin to No. 1 line 100,000.00 Installation of booster pump on Alderwood line at Fairmont 18,000.00 Total appropriation request4118,600.00 Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the General Current Expense Fund of the City of Everett for the year 1952 the sum of 4'1)600.00 which sum so paid shall be charged against the Miscellaneous Department.
