o
Ted Budden
From: Ted Budden
Sent: Wednesday,June 10, 2015 12:28 PM
To: Cynthia Keirsey
Subject: Ite63 76 3'Lower Ridge Road
Cindy,
Here is a summary of my observations and determinations based on the onsite inspection I conducted with you
yesterday afternoon at 7601 Lower Ridge Road.
1.The house at this location has been damaged by a large tree that has fallen on the south upper portion of the building.
2.The building has significant structural damage to the roof and SE exterior wall areas. Portions of the structure have
partially collapsed and will completely collapse in the near future.
3. Portions of the damaged areas have electrical wiring installed. It is not known if the electrical service has been
disconnected to the building.
4.The building appears vacant and as you know the adjacent neighbor that spoke to us during the inspection has stated
that this is the case.
This damage has rendered this structure "Unsafe" as defined by IPMC section 108.11
Because the unattended electrical system is partially compromised by this damage, this equipment is Unsafe as defined
by IPMC section 108.1.2
The house is and should remain vacant until repairs have been made and occupancy is approved by this office. (See
section R110.1 International Residential Code.)
I strongly support and encourage enforcement action to abate these conditions.
Thank you for the opportunity to assist you in this matter.
Ted Budden
Chief Inspector
Everett building Division
1
