Modify existing Bid Item#A-5 entitled, "Traffic Control <br /> Labor" at the Contract unit price of$57.00/hour, by adding 500 hours to the Contract, resulting in a <br /> $28,500.00 increase to the Contract price. <br /> JUSTIFICATION <br /> New Item #A-100—Sawcutting Cement Concrete Pavement, Final Joint Cut, Additional 1-Inch <br /> Thickness. The Contractor encountered cement concrete pavement greater than 6-inches thick in <br /> several areas of this project, but there is no corresponding bid item to pay for sawcutting concrete <br /> pavement thicker than 6-inches. This new item is being added to pay for costs to account for cement <br /> concrete pavement sawcutting over 6-inches thick. <br /> Bid Item#A-5—Traffic Control Labor. This bid item overran plan quantity and is being modified <br /> to account for costs for additional traffic control labor quantities. <br /> Total Cost of Change Order No. 3: $34,740.00 <br /> Contract Time: There is no adjustment to Contract time in Change Order No. 1. <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
