CEIITIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY CHECKLIST <br />In accordance with the Uniform Building Code, chapter 3, section 307, "No building or structure shall be <br />used or occupied, and no change in the existing occupancy classrfication of a building or structure or portion <br />thereof shall be made until the building official has issued a Certificate of Occupancy . • " <br />Exception: Group R, Division 3 and M occupancies <br />The City of Everett requires approval from each of the following agencies prior to issuing either a Temporary <br />Certificate of Occupancy (T.C.O.) or a Certificate of Occupancy (C.O.). <br />Inspections for C.O. should be requested 14 days in advance of the date the C.O. is needed. <br />T.C.O.
