February 27, 2019 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., February 27, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of the February 20, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as printed. Council Members Murphy and Stonecipher abstained from the vote. MAYOR Mayor Franklin stated that commercial air service is scheduled to open on Monday at Paine Field. She also stated the City has received four applications for the Districting Commission and encouraged citizens to consider applying for the commission. COUNCIL Council Member Vogeli provided a report from her attendance at the Historical Commission meeting on Tuesday. She also invited citizens to attend the William F. Brown Awards on May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station. Council Member Moore commented on his attendance at the Diversity Board meeting. Council Member Roberts provided a liaison report from the Northwest Neighborhood meeting. He also provided Council with an update regarding a memo sent to Puget Sound Regional Council on clean fuel. Council Member Roberts stated the next General Government Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for March 20 at 5 p.m. Council Member Murphy stated the next Budget Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for March 6 at 5:30 p.m. 62
