4 <br /> February 27, 2019 <br /> Council Member Tuohy requested the Council receive <br /> briefings on any new programs that are being considered for <br /> grant funding. <br /> Ms. McCrary stated she would present that information at the <br /> next meeting before action is taken on this item. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested that the Budget <br /> Subcommittee monitor any funds that are not allocated so <br /> they may be used for other grants instead of rolled into the <br /> General Government Fund at the end of the year. <br /> Vision 2050 Update of the Regional Growth Strategy <br /> Presented by Allan Giffen, Planning <br /> Considerable discussion ensued regarding Puget Sound <br /> Regional Council (PSRC) growth targets, the impact of not <br /> hitting population growth goals, transportation, housing, <br /> zoning, and the Metro Everett Plan. I <br /> Council Member Roberts requested that previous <br /> correspondence on this issue be provided to Council. He also <br /> asked that Council review the City's draft of the public <br /> comment submission to PSRC regarding Vision 2050. <br /> Nick Harper, Administration, stated staff would provide the <br /> exact numbers regarding regional growth to Council. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested information on how <br /> PSRC funds are allocated across the counties. <br /> Mr. Giffen stated he would consult with PSRC to obtain that <br /> information. <br /> Mayor Franklin commented on Snohomish County's <br /> representation at PSRC and stated that she has designated <br /> Council Member Murphy to be her alternate at the PSRC <br /> Executive Board meetings when she is unable to attend. <br /> S. <br /> 64 <br />
