EXHIBIT A <br /> (ON-CALL TRANSLATION SERVICES) <br /> (SHORT FORM PSA) <br /> • <br /> Scope of On-Call The Service Provider will provide on-call translation services to the City of <br /> Services Everett. <br /> The following persons may request on-call translation services on behalf the City <br /> of Everett Wendy McClure or any other Director/Chief of a City Department or <br /> their designee. <br /> Service Provider will not start work on any on-call service unless there is a written <br /> confirmation from the City requester stating: (1)the scope of the service to be <br /> provided and(2)the compensation for such service. This written confirmation <br /> may be by email. <br /> Method of The Service Provider will invoice the City upon completion of each on-call service <br /> Payment or such other basis as the Service Provider and City requester may agree to in <br /> writing. However,the City always pays after services are rendered. <br /> Maximum The maximum total compensation under this Agreement is the amount stated <br /> Compensation in Section 4.D of the Agreement. In no event will compensation exceed that <br /> amount Increases in the Section 4.D amount require an amendment to the <br /> Agreement signed by the Mayor of the City. <br /> The Service Provider is responsible for tracking on-call service requests. For <br /> example,if the City requests an on-call service and the remaining compensation <br /> under Section 4.1)is insufficient to pay for that service,it is the Service Provider's. <br /> responsibility to notify the City requester that insufficient compensation is • <br /> available. If the Service Provider nevertheless proceeds to provide the requested <br /> on-call service,the City has no obligation to pay in excess of the Section 4.D. <br />
