Plans and specifications have been prepared for the cleanup project to <br /> the satisfaction of the Transportation Services Department and the Facilities and Real Property Department. <br /> The cleanup project includes excavation,hauling, disposal at a Washington Department of Ecology approved <br /> site,and backfill-inaccordance with the Volunteer Cleanup Plan that t has been reviewed and approved by the <br /> Washington State Department of Ecology site manager. <br /> The anticipated bid opening is May 14, 2019. Construction anticipated to start in July 2019. The anticipated <br /> construction duration is two months. A Funding Ordinance will be submitted for City Council consideration <br /> and approval after bids are received and the lowest responsive and responsible bidder has been determined. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Call for Bids for the Smith Street Cleanup Project. <br /> 133 <br />
