k <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 5 <br /> CONTRACT <br /> FOR <br /> ECONOMIC ALLIANCE SNOHOMISH COUNTY SERVICES - <br /> This Amendment No. 5 is dated for reference purposes April _, 2019, by and between <br /> the City of Everett(the "City") and Economic Alliance Snohomish County (the "Contractor"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City and the Contractor entered into the Contract for Economic Alliance <br /> Snohomish County Services dated April 10, 2012, as amended by Amendment No. 1 dated April <br /> 24, 2013, Amendment No. 2 dated April 2, 2014, Amendment No. 3 dated March 30, 2015, and <br /> Amendment No. 4 dated July 18, 2018 (the "Agreement"). In accordance with the Fourth <br /> Amendment,the term of the Agreement ends March 31, 2019. <br /> B. The City and the Contractor now desire to renew the Agreement for an additional <br /> year, so that the Agreement will expire March 31, 2020. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> The Contractor and the City agree as follows: <br /> 1. Section 2 of the Agreement is hereby amended so that the term of the Agreement <br /> expires on March 31, 2020. <br /> 2. The Scope of Services for April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 is attached to this <br /> Amendment as Appendix A. Specific objectives/work items under the contract are identified in <br /> Appendix B. Compensation under the Agreement remains unchanged at$75,000 (April to <br /> March). <br /> 3. Regardless of the date(s) on which this Amendment is signed by the parties,the <br /> parties agree that the Agreement has been continuously in effect since April 10, 2012. <br /> 4. Except as expressly modified by this Amendment, all provisions of the <br /> Agreement remain in full force and effect. <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br />
