State ofWashington Department of Ecology Page 7 of 20 <br /> Agreement No: AQTRNBUS-1719-COE-00005 <br /> Project Title: Transit Bus Replacement <br /> Recipient Name: City of Everett <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task Number: 1 Task Cost: $1,500,000.00 <br /> Task Title: Scrap and Replace three(3)diesel transit buses <br /> Task Description: <br /> Under this project the RECIPIENT will purchase three(3)new zero-emission all-electric transit buses to replace three <br /> (3)2006 or older engine model year diesel powered transit buses. <br /> The old buses must be scrapped. The scrapped buses must be permanently disabled. This requires a hole cut in the <br /> engine block and destruction of the chassis. A form to assist with this is available in the EAGL system. <br /> The RECEIPIENT will submit the bus order to Ecology upon placing the order. <br /> The RECIPIENT will make full payment for the buses and submit all invoices and destruction documents in order to <br /> receive payment. <br /> The RECIPIENT will provide a charging infrastructure prior to receiving delivery of the new all-electric bus. <br /> Ecology may grant a one-time extension of this grant for a period of one year. <br /> Task Goal Statement: <br /> The goal of this project is to reduce diesel exhaust air pollution by replacing three(3)2006 or older engine model year <br /> diesel transit buses with three(3)new all-electric transit buses. <br /> Task Expected Outcome: <br /> Three(3)old diesel transit buses replaced with three(3)all-electric new transit buses. <br /> Version 10/30/2015 <br />
