PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK Fully describe the project. Proposals from projects that can prove they will generate overnight stays are preferred. Please coordinate your project's milestones with the time line on page 7-of this package.Please also show any other funding received or requested for your project. In 2019,we will continue in our concert series and add additional uses for the theatre,weddings,corporate functions and others to more fully attract patrons to the theatre and City. By increasing use,we will be developing more business opportunities for City business as well as increase overnight stays. Our season is over a 12 month period,with concerts and shows running from September through May,and other uses during the summer months. We use local catering and hotels for all hospitality needed both for performers and patrons. We encourage local business to offer promotions as a means of capturing patrons while they are in the area. Our season will attract both local and national talent to attract return patrons as well as establish new relationships with patrons new to the area.Our website offers City business an opportunity to capitalize on the many visitors we now attract.With over 12,000 subscribers to our newsletter,there are many chances to promote local business on a regular basis We attempt to promote the theatre using local advertizing firms where possible. This gives us all an opportunity to reach new potential visitors planning their trip and stay in Everett. As a result of our promotions over the last 4 years,we have helped to establish Everett as a great place to display talent from all over the country. We strive to maintain a family type venue and try whenever possible to open the theatre to the less fortunate in our community with our movie monday projects. This year we hope to integrate our theatre school for kids in an attempt to get a wider appreciation of the arts, The overall benefit to the City is measured in new revenue generated for local business as well as a method for attracting people to the City when they are making decisions on how to spend their money. 4.77-
