He promotes Sorticulture
on his radio show and in his gardening column in the Seattle Times.
• In 2017, he wrote an article about Sorticulture that appeared in the Seattle Times
Pacific NW Sunday magazine and the attendance of Sorticulture increased by
20%!
• This year, Ciscoe pitched Sorticulture to Evening Magazine and it appears that
they are very interested and may film Sorticulture on Friday morning and air it
that evening.
• Ciscoe Morris gives gardening advice on a weekly radio show "Gardening with
Ciscoe" on 97.3 KIRO, and appears on KING5's New Day.
• Ciscoe Morris's book "Ask Ciscoe" was among the top selling garden books
nationwide. In addition, he has co-authored books on roses and perennials, and
writes a weekly garden column for the Seattle Times.
• 54% of Sorticulture attendees come from outside of Snoh. Co. and Ciscoe helps
spread the word to these visitors.
• Saturday afternoon is always the busiest time at Sorticulture as Ciscoe attracts
well over 300 people to listen to his 2pm talk.
For additional information please contact Carol Thomas 7101 or
cthomas@everettwa.gov
CITY OF EVERETT 802 E.Mukilteo Blvd Everett,WA 98203 (425)257-8300 Fax(425)257-8325
