(Below-ground piping must <br /> be installed by Washington State Patrol Licensed Underground Sprinkler line certified "U" <br /> installers. For further information, contact the State Fire Marshal's Office at(360) 596-3900 <br /> or contact the Everett Fire Department at(425)257-8124.) All such tests shall be witnessed by <br /> a Fire Department inspector. Call (425) 257-8124 or (425)257-8120 to make an appointment for <br /> inspection. Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire <br /> Department prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. Call (425) 257-8124 for more <br /> information. <br /> 8. All fire alarm control panels .(FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or closets <br /> with standard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire Code Official (NFPA 13 <br /> 8.16.4.1.3). <br /> 9. This business must meet all new State requirements for marijuana processing or extraction <br /> facilities [see WAC 51-54A-0105 and WAC 51-54A-3800 (new section) which is included]. Call <br /> Assistant Fire Marshal Jim Venturo (425/257-8124) to discuss design criteria of the building <br /> in order to meet the State requirements and requirements of the International Fire Code. <br /> PLANNING REQUIREMENTS <br /> Steve Ingalsbe(425)257-7135 <br /> 1. Landscaping must be installed in accordance with Landscape Category B of the zoning code. A <br /> landscape plan must be submitted with the construction permit application. The landscape plan <br /> must include a five-foot wide landscaped strip planted to Type III standards along the south lot <br /> line. This landscaped strip requires a minimum of four 2 1/2" caliper trees or six-foot tall <br /> spreading evergreen trees with 30 shrubs and groundcover. <br /> 2. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and Construction Standards for <br /> Development. A minimum of 15 off-street parking spaces are required. Currently there are six <br /> spaces on-site. The nine remaining required off-street parking spaces must be provided within 300 <br /> feet of the building.A parking covenant will be required for any off-site parking spaces. <br /> Note: The zoning code requires 1 space for every 800 square feet of building area for this type of <br /> use (35,292/800=44). NCB#15-029 certified a nonconfouuity of 29 off-street parking spaces. <br /> 3. Comply with Ordinance 3407-14 and all requirements of state law,the Washington State Liquor <br /> and Cannabis Board, and the City. <br /> 4. Any future change of use of the property will require review by the Planning Department to <br /> determine if the new use meets the intent of this permit or if it will require a new application. <br /> 5.
