GE.0110DESIGN FIELD REPORT
1.--of-3-
.
Project Name: I Everett River Front-Simpson Report: 102
GeoDesign#: i Polygon-127-03 _ Date: 3/14/2018
Reports with Unresolved Nonconformance Issues: Permit:
PW 1505-005
Nick Abdelnour(Polygon) l Randy Allen(City of Everett) Weather: Clear, 50's
Ron Bowen(Polygon) ! The exposed
footing subgrade soil generally consisted of a gray-brown to brown silty SAND with gravel that could be probed generally
less than 2 inches using a 1/2 inch diameter soil probe. Relative compaction of the footing subgrade soils was tested using
a Troxler Moisture-Density gauge; in-place density tests indicated that material had been compacted to greater than 95%of
its maximum dry density as determined by a Modified Proctor analysis.
It is the opinion of GeoDesign that exposed foundation subgrade observed today is currently suitable for support of the
intended structure. GeoDesign recommends that any surficially loose and saturated material that may be generated be
removed from the base of foundation areas prior to the placement of concrete.
Lot 156:
Today, GeoDesign noted that DDS had completed excavation of the footing and crawl space area for Lot 156. The exposed
footing subgrade soil generally consisted of a gray-brown to brown silty SAND with gravel that could be probed generally
less than 2 inches using a 1/2 inch diameter soil probe.
