April 3, 2019 <br /> AYES: Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, <br /> Tuohy <br /> NAYS: None <br /> EXCUSED: None <br /> Ordinance 3666-19 adopted. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> RESOLUTION — CLIMATE ACTION PLAN <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Vogeli, to adopt Resolution No. 7359 requesting the Everett Planning <br /> Commission prepare a Climate Action Plan for the City of Everett. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked Council Member Murphy for his <br /> leadership. He also thanked Council Members Vogeli and Moore, who serve <br /> on the General Government Subcommittee. Council Member Roberts also <br /> reviewed the recommendations and goals outlined in the plan. <br /> The following Everett residents spoke in support of the Climate Action Plan: <br /> Pam Kepford, Ryan Weber, Kimberly Busteed, Tom Crisp, Paula Townsell, <br /> and Jacob Skinner <br /> Victor Harris, Everett, inquired about the date the plan is due back from the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> President Bader stated a date has not been confirmed. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that funding in an approximate amount of <br /> $25,000 will be required for additional consulting services. <br /> Council Member Vogeli encouraged the public to attend the Arbor Day <br /> ceremony on April 10, 12:30 p.m., at Walter E. Hall Park. <br /> Council Member Murphy thanked Council Member Roberts for his work on <br /> the plan. He also commented on the importance of the City's role in making <br /> a difference for future generations. <br /> 101 <br />
