EVERETT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> CAPITAL FACILITIES AND UTILITIES ELEMENT <br /> Berths: • Pier 1 - Reconstruction of Pier 1 to <br /> Pier 1 South achieve depths of 40 feet MLLW on both <br /> Berth Length= 660 feet sides of the pier. <br /> Water Depth= 40 feet <br /> The Port's long-term development program <br /> ' Pier 1 North (next 10 years) involves further expansion <br /> Berth Length= 660 feet and redevelopment of South Terminal, and <br /> Water Depth= 34 feet would include: <br /> ' • Nearshore fill of 22 acres to create cargo <br /> Pier 3 assembly and transit areas. <br /> Concrete pile and deck finger pier <br /> approximately 120 feet wide. • Construction of three deep water berths <br /> (Nos. 2, 3, and 4). <br /> Berths: <br /> Pier 3 South • Facilities to support the marine terminal, <br /> Berth Length= 650 feet including rail lines, transit shed for cargo <br /> Water Depth= 38 feet assembly and marshaling, and a Port mainte- <br /> nance facility. <br /> Pier 3 North= 650 feet <br /> Water Depth= 40 feet <br /> For additional information see Port of Everett <br /> Map. <br /> The Marine Terminal Development Program <br /> provides a blueprint for near and long-term <br /> development of the Port's marine terminal <br /> properties. The Port's near-term development <br /> program (next 5 years), is currently in the <br /> process of being planned and/or implemented, <br /> and includes: <br /> • South Terminal - Development of the <br /> existing 30-acre and single berth facility into a <br /> log export and general cargo terminal. <br /> • Chill Facility - Relocation of the chill facil- <br /> ity to a multi-purpose warehouse located <br /> 1 between Pier 1 and Pier 3. <br /> • Alumina - Relocation of the alumina <br /> 1110 unloading facility to Pier 3 South. <br /> I <br /> CF-25 <br />
