The sign face and hanger will protrude into the area where the new sidewalk will be placed. It appears to be possible for the street -side sign face and hanger to be removed in order to leave the sidewalk cbar for pedestrians. The building -side sign face and hanger would remain. This reconfiguration will still have the sign on City ROW. This sign was constructed about 15 yrs ago. At that time, the previous owner was notified that the sign was on city property and would have to be moved. The sign, for whatever reason was never moved. The building's present owner, Campfire USA, would likely be responsible for modifying the sign or removing it from the Right of Way. My suggestion is that we allow the sign to remain in the Right of Way with mortifications to keep it dear of the sidewalk. Otherwise, we inform the Campfire I.iris and boys to move the sign off the ROW in its entirety.
