PUBLIC WORK-5"
FILE COPY
22 March, 2017
Owner: Market Place LLC
Job Address: 220 Olympic Blvd '
Plan Check No: 4'178-3-010 )a'70 vireo I
RE: Corrections Letter
Dear Ms. Sirnivasann,
In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are
advised that revisions may be necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and
respond to the comments below.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the
Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections
requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved.
General
1. The plumbing application is for a proposed restaurant. For a restaurant, a building
permit will be required. To apply for a building permit, an application will include a
permit application, floor plan to include the seating and a site plan as per the standard
submission requirements.
( 2.. If the proposal is for a food preparation kitchen only, the Planning Department has not
\./ approved such a use. Their approval will be required prior to the plumbing permit being
issued.
All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), the 2015 International Fire
Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 Washington State
Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of
Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and
Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may
be more restrictive. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or
additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire). All
required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed
structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
Sincerely,
Tony Lee
Building Official
ccSika
