Upon closer review, I noticed that the
residence is not meeting the required street side setback of 10 feet to the property line—the site plan indicates 7'-3".
Because you're proposing work within the required 10' setback,we need to complete a nonconforming building
certification (NCB) before I can sign off on the permit for the general Planning requirements. I have linked the NCB
application below. The current application fee is$207. Please submit the NCB as soon as possible so as not to delay your
project.
I have marked the permit to be routed to Building in the meantime so as not to hold up the project. Public Works and
Planning-Historical have already signed off on the permit. Please note however that additional Planning
comments/corrections may be required upon review and completion of the NCB application. If you have any Planning
questions, please let me know and I'm happy to be of assistance.
NCB application: https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/737
Note: these requirements are only in relation to the zoning code and do not account for all possible requirements from
other departments. Please call the Permit Services line at 425.257.8810 if you have additional permitting questions.
Thanks,
Kelsey Heyd
Assistant Planner
City of Everett Planning Department
Direct:425.257.7275
Permit Services:425.257.8810
NOTICE: All emails, and attachments, sent to and from City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to
the Public Records Act(RCW 42.56)
1
