April 17, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., April 17, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 10, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Murphy abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin proclaimed the week of April 22-26, 2019, as Stand Against <br /> Racism Week. She presented the proclamation to the YWCA. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at the 26th Annual <br /> Wendt Award of Excellence and Mayor's Arts Awards. He also provided a <br /> recap from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee meeting. <br /> Council Member Vogeli reported on her attendance at the 26th Annual <br /> Wendt and Mayor's Arts Awards, the Everett Police Annual Awards <br /> ceremony, and the 2019 Earth Day People's Climate March. <br /> Council Member Moore recognized the work of the Diversity Advisory <br /> Board. <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about the importance of standing against <br /> racism. He reported on his attendance at the Wendt and Mayor's Arts <br /> Awards and the Climate March. Council Member Roberts also stated that <br /> the letter regarding the Climate Action Plan has been signed and will be <br /> delivered to the Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Policy Board next <br /> week. He also reported on his attendance at the Delta Neighborhood <br /> meeting. <br /> 111 <br />
