I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> DIVISION 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1 Supplement Division 1 by adding the following: <br /> General Description and Location of Project <br /> (******) <br /> Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct a new storm drainage network consisting of approximately 3,920 linear feet of 6- <br /> inch to 18-inch diameter storm sewer pipe, and other such appurtenances and performing <br /> all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract <br /> Provisions. <br /> The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located in the northwest <br /> neighborhood on Alverson Blvd, Grand Ave and side streets from 5th St. to 9th St and on 9th <br /> St from Grand Ave to Rucker Ave. <br /> Design Engineer <br /> Questions and inquiries about these Contract Documents should be directed in writing to <br /> ' the attention of Arnie Roshak, City Project Manager, aroshak@everettwa.gov. <br /> Standard Specifications <br /> (******) <br /> ' All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following <br /> Specifications except as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract <br /> Documents. These Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this <br /> Contract and shall control and guide all activities within this Project whether referred to <br /> directly, paragraph by paragraph. <br /> ' WSDOT/APWA "2016 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal <br /> Construction", as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> "Standard Specifications." <br /> The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the <br /> Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the <br /> Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other <br /> specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in <br /> these Plans and Special Provisions. <br /> 1. City of Everett "Design and Construction Standards and Specifications", latest <br /> edition as found on the Web at "https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/243." <br /> 2. WSDOT Amendments to the Standard Specifications as found on the Web at <br /> "http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Business/Construction/SpecificationsAmendmentsGSPs. <br /> htm". <br /> 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction", as prepared by WSDOT. <br /> 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)." <br /> 5. APWA Standards. <br /> 1 6. AWWA Standards. <br /> Each Provision of these Special Provisions either supplements, modifies, or replaces the <br /> comparable Standard Specification, or is a new Provision.
