I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS DIVISION 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1 Supplement Division 1 by adding the following: General Description and Location of Project (******) Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct a new storm drainage network consisting of approximately 3,920 linear feet of 6- inch to 18-inch diameter storm sewer pipe, and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located in the northwest neighborhood on Alverson Blvd, Grand Ave and side streets from 5th St. to 9th St and on 9th St from Grand Ave to Rucker Ave. Design Engineer Questions and inquiries about these Contract Documents should be directed in writing to ' the attention of Arnie Roshak, City Project Manager, aroshak@everettwa.gov. Standard Specifications (******) ' All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following Specifications except as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract Documents. These Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this Contract and shall control and guide all activities within this Project whether referred to directly, paragraph by paragraph. ' WSDOT/APWA "2016 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction", as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Specifications." The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in these Plans and Special Provisions. 1. City of Everett "Design and Construction Standards and Specifications", latest edition as found on the Web at "https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/243." 2. WSDOT Amendments to the Standard Specifications as found on the Web at "http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Business/Construction/SpecificationsAmendmentsGSPs. htm". 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction", as prepared by WSDOT. 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)." 5. APWA Standards. 1 6. AWWA Standards. Each Provision of these Special Provisions either supplements, modifies, or replaces the comparable Standard Specification, or is a new Provision. The deletion, amendment, ' alteration, or addition to any subsection or portion of the Standard Specifications is meant to pertain only to that particular portion of the section, and in no way should it be interpreted that the balance of the section does not apply.
