Section 10: <br /> For bus operators the City will endeavor to post the daily work schedule no later than 2:00 p.m. <br /> on the day prior to the schedule becoming effective. For paratransit operators the City will <br /> endeavor to post their work schedule no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day prior to the schedule <br /> becoming effective. <br /> Section 11: <br /> All operators shall be allowed to bid on their respective extra board during the regular mark-up <br /> time. <br /> Section 12: <br /> Any bus operator or paratransit operator called to work on any of his/her days off, including <br /> vacation, may refuse to work on such a day off without reprisal. <br /> Section 13: <br /> If a verifiable emergency exists affecting an employee, or family, such as a medical emergency <br /> or household emergency which requires the immediate attention of the employee, the City will <br /> make every effort to release the employee as quickly as possible from work to attend to the <br /> emergency. The employee must use vacation time for time off to deal with the emergency and <br /> the employee is required to provide written verification of the emergency that is acceptable to <br /> management. Written verification is required upon return to work. Failure to provide written <br /> verification will result in disciplinary action. <br /> Section 14: <br /> Bus operator schedules shall include reasonable layover and recovery time for restroom use. <br /> Section 15: <br /> Employees may be scheduled to work additional hours for training purposes. This requirement <br /> shall not exceed four (4) training sessions per calendar year, and the training sessions shall not <br /> exceed four (4) hours each. The training shall take place on the employee's regular work day <br /> and shall not result in the employee working over twelve (12) hours per day. <br /> Section 16: <br /> Audio and video recording systems (AVRS) will be in all revenue service vehicles and inspector <br /> vehicles. The purpose of this system is to enhance the safety, security and customer service <br /> experience of the public, employees, and the City. <br /> Cameras in vehicles will not be positioned in or on vehicles in such a manner as to directly <br /> record the Operator when in his/her seat, although parts of the Operator may be captured in <br /> video of the fare box and front entryway, as well as when the Operator is out of his/her seat. <br /> 23 <br />
