May 1, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., May 1, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore <br /> Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was <br /> found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, <br /> Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 24, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin announced that there are nearly 40 applicants for the <br /> Districting Commission and would provide those to Council for review. <br /> Mayor Franklin invited Police Chief Templeman to introduce new police <br /> officers. <br /> OATH - POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Tuohy, to concur with the appointments of Margret Ingimarsdottir, <br /> Daniel Rocha, Chad House, and Joshua Gottas as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the Oath of Office, and Mayor Franklin <br /> presented the officers with their badges. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy provided an update from the Budget <br /> Subcommittee meeting held earlier this evening. <br /> 129 <br />
