RESOLUTION# 6678 -1 <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing <br /> Human Needs Priorities for 2014 Grant Funding <br /> WHEREAS,the mission of the Human Needs Advisory Committee is to annually review <br /> the human needs in the City of Everett, to prioritize those needs, and to allocate funds to most <br /> benefit those needs; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Human Needs Advisory Committee has recommended the following list <br /> of human needs priorities for 2014 funding to qualified programs inside the City of Everett: <br /> 1. YOUTH <br /> a) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> b) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health Treatment) <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Substance Abuse <br /> e) Abuse/Neglect <br /> f) Violence/Delinquency Prevention <br /> 2. ELDERLY <br /> a) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health Treatment) <br /> b) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Abuse/Neglect <br /> 3. PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES <br /> a) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> b) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health Treatment) <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Employment Support <br /> e) Abuse/Neglect <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee recommends proposed programs be <br /> reviewed according to whether they meet one or more of the following criteria: <br />
