Federal ADA, FHA, and
HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines may be more
restrictive.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to
provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents
reflecting the corrections requested.
Structural
1. It appears that 1/2"diameter expansion bolts are being provided into unreinforced masonry
or hollow clay tile with epoxy. Please provide supporting documentation indicating which
epoxy is to be used, if epoxy is intended to be used. Also, please specify which anchorage
system is being used as expansion anchors are providing a different anchorage resistance
than epoxy anchorage.
2. It appears that the anchorage is going through masonry or hollow clay tile, please verify
which material as the anchorage provided will affect the attachment resistance. Please
provide a backing plate on the other side, if this is the design intent.
3.
