SECTION 101400 <br /> SIGNAGE <br /> PART 1 -GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: Building Signage <br /> B. Related Sections: <br /> 1. 104440-Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets: Signs for identification of FEC <br /> locations. <br /> 2. Other signage such as illuminated exit signage, etc., (IBC 1011 and 2702.2.3) are <br /> specified in Division 26. <br /> C. Work N.I.C.: Building Identification Signage, <br /> 1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> A. Signage supplier to provide: <br /> 1. Signage schedule with text, graphic (if applicable),and location for each sign <br /> required. <br /> B. Signs Required: Generally, each space identified by number on the door schedule <br /> requires a sign. <br /> 1. Entry Signs: To identify accessible entrance to building(IBC 1011.1 and 1110.2) <br /> 2. Exit Signs: To identity exits and exit access doors, (IBC 1011 and 2702.2.3), and <br /> • including under Related Sections. <br /> 3. Stairs, Stairway Landings: To identify access, stair number, floor number and <br /> existence or absence of roof access, (IBC 1019.1.6 and 1019.1.7). <br /> Note: Floors and sub-floors at or above grade in buildings shall be marked <br /> with numbers,in ascending order, beginning with the number"1" (for the <br /> ground or first floor),then"2", "3",etc. <br /> Ground Floor in the drawing set shall have signage FLOOR 1,and first floor <br /> (residential floor)will have signage FLOOR 2. <br /> 4. Elevator Signs: Emergency signs at each landing above ground floor to indicated <br /> exiting by stairs, (IBC 1109.6 and 3002.3); Coordinate with Section 142400. <br /> 5. Accessibility Signage: areas of refuge(1107.6), loading zones,toilet facilities, and <br /> directional signage to accessible facilities, (IBC 1110). <br /> 6. Egress Doors with Locks: Provide in accordance with(IBC 1008.8.3). <br /> 7.
