> Bath 3, room 142 is designed as an anti-ligature bathroom.The anti-ligature
requirements supersede other requirements and the bathroom fixtures and accessories may
not necessarily meet accessibility requirements.
The shower within an anti-ligature bathroom cannot have a shower rod or glass doors because
of the possible harm to the occupant. Per the DOH we are using the IBC 1103.2.13 as stated on
sheet A005. Anti-ligature residents are similar to detainees. However instead of observing
patients in the bathing room, the room is equipped with fixtures and devices that allow for the
their safety while they bathe in privacy.
> Bath 4, room 139 is a Type B walk-in shower that can be used by any of the residents
except the anti-ligature patients.
Included are revised sheets A203,A523 and A524 and spec set Cover and Section 102800 Toilet
Accessories. Changes are labeled as DELTA 7 and are clouded on the revised drawing sheets.
If there are any questions or concerns with the responses to any of the corrections please let us
know.
Regards,
Marc Jenefsky
Principal Architect
Bazan Architects
2000 116th Avenue NE
Bellevue, WA 98004
Project No.3014594 and 6324483 TRege-2-e#-2- Bazan Architects
