This report is an analysis of the structural characteristics of the <br /> clamps and supported glass lights to assist the specifier in determining the proper application and <br /> use of the Z-series clamps. <br /> When used in installations complying with the recommendations herein the Z-series clamps and <br /> supported lights will be in accordance with the requirements of the 2006,2009 and 2012 <br /> International Building Codes,Florida Building Code (non-hurricane zones),2010 and 2013 <br /> California Building Code.Aluminum components are designed in accordance with the 2005 <br /> Aluminum Design Manual. Stainless steel components are designed in accordance with SEI/ <br /> ASCE 8-02 Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Stainless Steel Structural Members or <br /> AISC Design Guide 27 Structural Stainless Steel as applicable.
