Everett Police Department <br /> Code Enforcement Unit <br /> February 6, 2019 CE18-1066 <br /> ORDER OF THE CITY OF EVERETT CODE OFFICIAL <br /> Property: 1832 Chestnut Street <br /> Everett, WA 98201-1941 <br /> Property owner: Estate of Frank Harley Rowe, Unknown Heirs and Unknown <br /> Devisees All other occupants of the premises and any other <br /> persons or parties claiming to have right title, estate lien, or <br /> interest in the property. <br /> You are the owner(s) of the above referenced property (the "Property"). On December 6, 2018, <br /> the Violations Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett held that the residence was unfit for <br /> human occupancy because it lacked the required approved water service. The Examiner <br /> ordered you to keep the structure vacant and secure until approved water service is restored. <br /> The Examiner further ordered you to abate nuisances present at the property including <br /> discarded junk, household and personal items and overgrown vegetation. Inspection of the <br /> property on January 17, 2019 revealed the structure remains unsecure, without approved water <br /> service, and the nuisances remain. Police again found the property occupied on February 6, <br /> 2019. <br /> Pursuant to my authority as the Code Official, under the International Property Maintenance <br /> Code Section 108.2, I hereby order you, Estate of Frank Harley Rowe, Unknown Heirs and <br /> Unknown, Devisees All other occupants of the premises and any other persons or parties <br /> claiming to have right title, estate lien, or interest in the property, to secure the residence and <br /> accessory structures, by boarding all doors, windows, and points of entry in compliance with <br /> Appendix A of the IPMC. Further, to properly enclose the nuisances described above or to <br /> remove the nuisances from the property. <br /> ACTION REQUIRED: You must properly secure the residence and accessory structures by <br /> boarding from unauthorized entry and properly enclose or remove all nuisances from the <br /> property by February 8, 2019 no later than 3:00 PM. <br /> FAILURE TO COMPLY: If you fail to comply with this Order, the city will vacate and board up <br /> the residence and structures on the property after 3:00 PM on February 11, 2019 and not later <br /> than February 15, 2019.
