PUBLIC WORKS
1011 of05-C9 '7I 0 1110
TO:
Dan Balmelli, Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc., 425-251-6222
FROM:
Sabrina Fandler, Engineering/Permit Services, 425-257-7813
DATE:
7-28-2016
SUBJECT:
Plan Review Comments for Public Works Permit Application
PROPOSAL:
Bertch Warehouses
LOCATION:
3301 Seaway Blvd
PERMIT #:
PW 1605-013
A review of this project by the Engineering/Permit Services Division indicates that the following
revisions should be made and/or the following conditions must be met. Please note that these
comments are only from the reviewers listed below and that other comments from the Building
Division and Planning Department may be required, but will be issued in separate letters by those
reviewers.
1. Please see the compiled list of comments below and the attached redlines to revise your plans
accordingly, prior to resubmitting to the Permit Services Counter. If you have any questions
regarding the comments/redlines or need anything further, please directly contact this project's
Public Works plans reviewer, Sabrina Fandler, at 425-257-7813 or SFandler@everettwa.gov.
a. Please resubmit the following items to the Permit Services Counter with your
resubmittal once all requested revisions have been made:
i. Transmittal Sheet: (1) available online at hgps:Heverettwa.gov/Permits or at the
Permit Counter-2°d Floor, 3200 Cedar Street.
ii. Plans: (4) sets of revised plans plus original City Markups.
iii. Drainage Report: (2) copies of revised drainage report, addressing the
Stormwater comments in the following sections.
The Permit Counter is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-12:OOpm and from
1:OOpm-4:OOpm (closed between 12:OOpm-1:OOpm for lunch).
b. In general, the following comments apply:
i. The existing conditions (survey) line work is very dark on this submittal and it is
causing the other line work to blend in and make the plans difficult to read. We
would appreciate if you would please shade back the existing contour lines.
Additionally, is there a way to make the top of wall/bottom of wall callouts more
readable against the proposed contours? The main goal is to clear up the
readability of the plans and eliminate any question during review and
construction. (Particularly sheet C5)
=Pagel
