Ms. Sabrina Fandler
City of Everett
Public Works Department
Engineering/Permit Services
Response: The
location has been
concerns raised.
August 9, 2016
MWS will have easy access from the pond access road. The
reviewed by both MWS and the Geotech engineer with no
viii. The drain down line in the first chamber of the MWS must be deleted for installations
in the City of Everett because standing water in the vault is the prime indicator of the
need to conduct maintenance of the system. It is also the only criteria that can be
determined to exist with specific flow and/or water quality monitoring during storm
events.
Response: The drain down line has been removed from the MWS.
ix. Currently, CB #30 is shown as the southern control structure. However, this structure
is not easily accessed and the restrictor device must be located in CB #31 instead.
CB #30 must function only as an emergency overflow, with either a bee -hive grate or
a jailhouse opening, as currently shown.
Response: A control structure has been relocated to CB#31 and a bee -hive grate is
now shown for CB#30.
We believe that the above responses, together with the enclosed revised plans and technical documents,
address all of the comments in your July 28, 2016 memorandum. Please review and approve the
enclosed at your earliest convenience. If you have questions or need additional information, please do
not hesitate to contact me at this office.
